The Hoomans are going on another adventure. This time, they’re hunting HUCKLEBERRIES!
Harley D., Lilly Lou, and tiny two-pound Abby Gail know the signs. Containers are appearing. Outdoor supplies are being gathered. The pickup is getting ready to go. Something is definitely happening again.
There is only one problem.
What in the world is a huckleberry?
The Three Yorkieteers are about to find out when Hooman Mommy Susie and Hooman Daddy Cody take them into beautiful huckleberry country for a day of berry picking. Once they arrive, Abby quickly discovers that huckleberries are surprisingly tiny, especially considering how much trouble the Hoomans went through to find them.
Everything seems perfectly normal.
Until Lilly Lou notices something.
A bush just moved.
Nobody touched it.
Then another bush rustles.
Something snuffles behind the leaves. Strange tracks appear in the soft ground. Harley D. catches an unfamiliar furry scent, and Abby Gail becomes determined to discover what is hiding among the huckleberries.
The answer comes tumbling right out of the bushes.
A tiny black bear cub!
Then the bushes move again.
There are TWO of them!
The playful twin cubs are only a little taller than Harley D. They have enormous curious eyes, oversized baby paws, empty bellies, and absolutely no idea how to properly eat the huckleberries growing all around them.
When the twins discover a hill and begin tumbling down it over and over again, Harley D. decides there is only one possible thing to call them:
Jack and Jill.
Soon, what began as a Great Huckleberry Hunt becomes something much more important. Jack and Jill appear to be lost, and no Mommy Bear or Daddy Bear can be found. Susie and Cody know these babies are wild animals, so they contact wildlife professionals and follow their instructions to make sure the little bears receive the help they need.
Along the way, the Yorkieteers discover unexpected friendship, plenty of laughter, and two of the strangest playmates they have ever met. Even cautious Lilly Lou gets involved, while Harley D. thinks tumbling bears may be the greatest discovery in Yorkieteers history.
Abby Gail has only one problem.
At two pounds, with tiny legs and a magnificent floor-length coat, keeping up with two rolling bear cubs is considerably harder than it looks.
